Director Needed for horror/suspense

Searching for a director for an indie horror/suspense film, to be shot on location in New England in October 2008. This is a low-budget film, though we're working on a worldwide distribution deal. A great opportunity for a director looking to build their reel- but please only serious directors! Must be a hard worker and a team player, ready to tackle any challenge.

About the film:
"In a small New England town, a mean and elaborate prank is played on an unsuspecting teenager. Years later, two homicide detectectives investigating a string of brutal murders find themselves caught in an old web of guilt and deceit. They must race to find the killer... before the killer finds them."

Why not direct it yourself?

Because I'm not a director. My partner and I would be very good at directing, I imagine, but prefer another collaborator who will give the film their feel. Which is why we'll be making the choice very carefully. If you would like to be considered for the position, and have any links to work you've done, etc, that would be great.

Well that sounds like an interesting project, but no I'd have to pass. I would refer you to someone else, but I don't know anyone to refer you to. You might try celtx forum and see if anyone on there is interested.
