Creating Audio Distortion in FCP

I have found plenty of tools to eliminate audio distortion in FCP but I can't find much to help me create it there.

I'm running panther (old school i know) and I know there are some plugins that work with leopard but I'd rather not spend the time and money required to upgrade at this point.

so, does anyone know where i can get some freebie plugins for FCP that will HELP ME CREATE AUDIO DISTORTION?!
(i'm running panther, 10.3.9, final cut pro HD)

If not, can anyone suggest some easy to use audio distortion software?

You may want to check out Toolfarm.

Also, look in the Effects in SoundTrack Pro. There are some distortion tools there, and I "think" most of them were there on the version of FCP I think you may be running, which would be 4.5.

"Distortion" covers a wide range of effects, too. Can you give an example of what you're trying to do?

i make experimental art fag nonsense, so really just about any distortion one can imagine would potentially be useful to me.

I wanna play with all the magic buttons but they are hiding from me!

SoundTrack Pro has a Distortion filter in it, too.
