Coronavirus

A healthy volunteer in Seattle is the first person in the U.S. to receive a dose of an experimental coronavirus vaccine as part of a new clinical trial, government health officials announced today (March 16).

Over the next six weeks, researchers plan to enroll 45 participants in the trial, which will test the safety of the vaccine as well as its ability to induce an immune response in the volunteers. The trial will take place at Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute (KPWHRI) in Seattle.

I am pretty sure the issues with Italy are not the same as America. Demographics and social behavior are things to be considered. They might not be licking religious shrines as seen in Iran but they do things like kiss and eat together in differnt ways than Americans do as well as the fact Itally is listed as the population with the oldest people demographics. I think each country is going to have it's own rate based on the culture, age and how well they follow health professional recomendations.
