Composer Looking For Work

Hello everyone, I'm Kyero.

I have been composing music now for around 3-4 years, and I consider my skills to be at a high-intermediate level. I can compose powerful orchestral works thanks to the software I have, so if you are of the mind to add a rich, dense orchestral score to your project then please don't hesitate to contact me about possibly scoring your film. My strongest genres with respect to music composition are fantasy, horror, sci-fi, drama, action, and adventure. My weakest areas are jazz related scores or anything involving the writing of lyrics as that's just not who I am as a composer/musician.

I will provide a link to my SoundCloud page, as well as links to the pieces of music I feel best represent my versatility and abilities as a composer at this time. And please keep in mind that all of the pieces linked are just projects done as a hobby. When and if I am asked to compose for your film, I will endeavor to make all the music seamless and to sound as if it were performed by a real orchestra.

Thank you very much for your time, and I hope to hear from someone soon! Good luck on your projects everyone!

~ Kyero

Hi Kyero, I want to thank you for posting. I will see if I can get you listed in our newsletter. Maybe I should start a listing for composers looking for work of different levels.

It wouldn't be a bad idea in my opinion.

Even though many young and aspiring filmmakers want the best quality music they can get their hands on, sometimes it's better to first let them get used to people with time and experience roughly equivalent to their own in their respective field. Student filmmakers working on maybe their first or second official film and who've only been studying filmmaking for 2-3 years should not expect
someone with 10+ years of composition experience to want to work with them. Let alone work with them for student budget reimbursement.

Does that make sense?

I've been composing for around 3 years now, and I don't expect anyone who's been a filmmaker for 10+ years to come knocking on my door asking for music for their latest project. Keeping everyone supplied with access to various options at their own experience level is the best way for both sides to learn and grow from one another.

Yes, that does make sense. Can you add some samples to our network music section. I am sorry that will have to sign up again for that section but it gives me a way to quickly refer to you and your availability.

I have signed up for the networking music page, but when I try to upload music to a created playlist the music files aren't accepted or uploaded. Is there a wait period before I can upload anything like that or a post count I have to reach? The files are basic .mp3 files so I don't know why it won't upload them.
