The Chicago International Film Festival’s youth and student film festival CineYouth is now accepting entries! The 9th annual CineYouth Festival, held May 9-11, 2013 in Chicago accepts film submission from filmmakers 21 years old and younger from around the world. Films must be 10 minutes or less and can be in any of the following categories: Drama, Documentary, Comedy, Music Video, Public Service Announcement, Animation, Music Video, Action, Thriller, Sports and Experimental.
Approximately 100 films are accepted to CineYouth and all accepted films are screened during the Festival at Columbia College Chicago. Accepted films are eligible for awards in the “Best of the Fest,” and winning films are shown at the Chicago International Film Festival (October 10-24, 2013).
CineYouth also presents a number of filmmaking workshops, panels and events – CineYouth is free to attend.
