Technical specs on this new XL-style HDV camcorder from Canon will in fact be announced during the Canon Expo next week, Sep. 14-16.
There has been some great independent reporting from IBC by Mikko Wilson and Lars Steenhoff of the DVXuser forums. Right now, it appears as though they are providing the only source of coverage for these cameras at IBC, great work.
