Camera to PC

Is there a way - short of capturing into FCP or Adobe - to show video as shot on a windows PC? I would like to review daily shooting, when out in the field as simply as I can when next to a TV. If I connect a firewire or S-video, the only thing I can do is download and then play it back.

Ideas?

IF you are working in Premiere, you should be able to bring up all of your footage in the Capture window and play back with the standard controls -- you don't need to capture and digitize your footage just to play it back. You can review it straight from the tape on your computer in APP. I don't know about FCP.
