camera in freezing temp.

i plan on filming a survivor documentary with my freind. now i know that the cold weather will reduce the battery life but i am concerned for my camera, by protecting it from condensation. how can i protect it? any suggestions please write.

What I do when I am shooting ski/snowboard stuff is take a childs down jacket that will fit snugly around the camera and zip it up after setting the camera. Make sure you can reach the record button !
