I'm currently a junior in high school.
which obviously implies low budget which implies crappy camera.
While i interned i was able to use CanonXL2s on a regular basis but now i want to film my own projects.
how ever the very (un)faithful family heirloom JVC has finally given out. (thank god)
i'm currently on a under $900 budget for all equipment. which constricts me to a point n' shoot/consumer camera.
right now i'm eyeballing the GS-500. any suggestions for or against the GS series or is there other good consumer cameras out there.
