Hi everyone,
I hope all you are all doing well and getting ready to enjoy the holiday weekend. I'm checking in to see if you have any new films for this year's Children's Short Film Program that Patti Greaney curates for Film Columbia, Brooklyn's SHORTS IN WINTER.
We're looking for both animated and live action films that are no longer than 20 minutes (shorter the better) and appeal to audiences from ages 3-99.
Here is a description of FilmColumbia.
FilmColumbia is in its 12th year and boasts an advisory board consisting of:
James Schamus - CEO of Focus Features, producer, and screenwriter.
Peter Biskind - Contributing editor at Vanity Fair. Author of several books including Down and Dirty Pictures: Miramax, Sundance, and the Rise of Independent Films, Riders, Raging Bulls and most recently My Lunches with Orson.
Laurence Kardish - film curator, Museum of Modern Art.
Amanda Mackey Johnson - Co-founder of ScreenBridge, LLC and a partner in Mackey/Sandrich Casting
David Irving - Chairman of the Undergraduate Film and Television Department at NYU.
Bob Giraldi - Producer and director of more than 4000 television commercial campaigns, films and music videos (incl BEAT IT, SAY, SAY, SAY and LOVE IS A BATTELFIELD) and the film Dinner Rush.
and herself, Patti Greaney, film producer and director of New Media at Giraldi Media.
