I know I am. I got downright addicted to this show last season and it's one of those projects that just pumps you up and makes want to do this for a living even more. Excellent writing. Excellent acting. Beautiful imagery.

never seen it seems stupid thats my opinion. now something like over there and laguna beach is imazing cinematography and no im not saying luguna beach isnt scripted it may be but from what I see with the way its shot is it is some what scripted.

LOST is a great show (and great looking as well).

Also, from a technical point of view, the show is a feat just to produce. Extremely difficult shooting environment as far as maintaining the gear goes.

The project I did recently (that I posted a production journal for) had a crew consisting of mostly LOST people (mostly "production" side people, like the director, production manager, transportation captain, etc). It was fun hearing them tell stories about working on the show.

Kim I would highly recomend that you go buy or rent the season I DVDs and catch up for this season. Theres some really good behind the scenes material that comes with the set too. I think what makes the LOST pilot episode so important and special is that they really nailed the opening sequence just right, which is so critical in television or else you lose the viewer right away. I think film writers/directors have alot more freedom with what they want to do in the first few minutes than those in TV do.

Camera used?

Camera used?

Hey all,
would anyone know what equipment is used for the cinematography of LOST?

cameras used, lighting, rigs, etc?

How do they get those shots with that amazing depth of field?

thanx in advance

I am so afraid to get HOOKED if I watch one episode... that's what happened with Twin Peaks before... yikes..
