I was going through page 63 of American Cinematographer's Manual 10th Edition , the section being 'Exposure ' . In the bottom part of the page, it says " A handy exposure tool for digital production allows the user to quickly bring light levels in a scene within the safe range to avoid clipping. Developed by David Stump, ASC , the device consists of a hollow sphere ( diameter about 1.5 feet ) painted glossy white, with a hole in one side ( diameter about 2 inches ) that reveals a dark interior painted matte black. "
I searched the internet for the whereabouts of the device, any photo etc. But didn't found any. Do anyone know about this ?
