24p without the camera???

hey guys
i have been shooting some stuff for a band. i am using old footage that they have and then the footage that i have that was shot in 24p. then i am going to sweden with them in a few weeks and don't want to bring the dvx with me so that will be more footage that is "home video"...
my question is this: is there a way to get final cut to make footage look 24p even if it was not shot that way?

the best way to achieve this is a plugin called Magic Bullet. unfortunately though, it runs about $800 for a license and it is not yet supported for the most recent version of FCP. it does a lot more than convert footage to 24p, but if that's all you need it for, it's definitely not worth the money.
