Another belated response...and an alternate opinion. For my money, Avid just doesn't have much of a grip on delivering value on the low end of the product line. They have had several mediocre attempts at it, but they have to strip so much out of it to preserve the value of their higher end...

Fipp, Please describe your situation in more detail. What software authored the flash file? Can you load it and play it in your browser? Is the file from the internet and if it is, are you sure you have the entire file on your computer and not simply a link to it? More information will help.

Only PC I'm afraid. Premiere Pro, Encore DVD, and Audition are all PC only. After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator and all the print/web software are cross platform...
