The movie world is become increasingly fucked up. I just hope that there's going to be an outlet for the indie film makers in a couple of years, otherwise the indie filmaker is going to become an endangered if not extinct spieces.

Yea, Macintosh's are legendary when it comes to film editing. They're designed for photo manipulation/film editing in mind. Rather then the pc's which are more general.

This is generally a good place to start. If you have any ideas that you're unsure on how to develop post them here and we'll do our best to help.

Personally I'd got for pretty much any camera that can feed into a computer if your only starting out.
