I also might add with the Frame Rate Hack, I also get a 2fps with a 350degree shutter. For those light streak looks.
Here are your frame rate choices. 2,3,4,6,8,10,12,14,16,18,20,22,23,24,26,27,28,30, 32,34,36,38,40,42,44,46,48,50,52,54,56,58,60.

I have logo that I want to move across the screen, then up the screen, and then make it to go around a circle. I used to remember how. Simply forgot, cause I did not use but maybe once.. HELP!!!
thanks
Well I guess the question on you picking someting, needs to start with: What are you going to be shooting? Each Camera has it's own application. However the Hvx200 is the most diverse. P2 is amazing with it's workflow, however expensive, it is very true to the film and it's workflow. :) Hvx...
sorry, If you already wrapped production and are in Post, Color Correct the footage by fake baking it. Add some Magenta using the basic color corrector filter.
I would saw for TRUE 24p, and Varible frame rates, and you want to make films for a living. Or maybe do some other video work, Panasonic's HVX200 is the Way to go.
Here is some pal footy, and also the 2nd link is the VFR footy.

I concur with David,
I also must defend the P2 system, Simply amazing. Anyone who have used it, says so. All you need to 2 4 gig p2 cards, They act as a safe. but one will do just fine. I can say atleast 95% of the people on these forums has a External HDD. With the HVX200 you can dump with...
Well first off let me suggest for anyone who wants to do this for a living, learn to love spending money. Cause you have to no matter what... and if you get good enough you will actually make that back pretty fast.
Cameras: Panasonic HVX200. Simply the best for film...
you NEED to white balance everytime you in a differnt lighting situation. change lights, white balance. Keeps your white consistant. If you already shot and need to go, add some magenta in post :)
I would say save a couple more hundred,. about 3 hundred, and by the Panasonic HVX-200. High Def, True 24 P. Better SD than DVX, DVCPRO format. The list goes on.
Here are our forums.

I must quote, These are the people from the show "24" I figured I would save my words and show someone with the same opinion. Also like I state before "No camera is perfect" But I still say this one is NEAR PERFECT.
Recording to P2 cards is a completely different way of working. Filmwise...
MarkG: No offense, but I dont think you know anything about this camera. We have HIGH-RES 1080i/60i, TRUE 24p, Variable Frame rates. up to 60fps.
As for shooting: You don't get better. The tape is dead! DIRECT log and Capture into FCP. So however big your RAID or HDD, is how much you can...
OKAY!!! So I just ordered the HVX200 from BH having a great deal. 5744, for camera, bag and 4gb P2 card. not bad, a couple hundred off.
Ever since I was told about this camera from digi.. I have been researching it like mad. I love this camera :) Cant wait to use it.. Anyone know any reason...
I use apple. I dont use PC.
Regardless, you can just hook up the camera to the PC to transfer the data like you would have with a DV camera.
Okay so it has tape capabilities that is cool, Doesnt the Z1U go to HDV tapes? But this will only record DV, which of course is SD. I am still...
okay well the HVX200 sounds pretty cool. However 4 or 8 gigs dont seem to get you that far for the price. When I do a interview I would shoot like 30 mins of tape. I would also like to shoot HD, but with the chart HD at 720p will only give me 4mins. Just doesnt seem like people really could...
