    minidisc recorder

    Well, I have decided to go with using a clapper board and record my sound with either DAT or minidisc. Then I suppose its a matter of a little more involvement in editing. Does anyone have any experience with these two mediums? What kind of mic should I use? Thanks

    Sound Advice

    On Oct 5 I asked if anyone could advise me on the possability of rigging a mic jack to a Mini DV camera that has only a built in mike. Does anyone read this stuff or am I just being ignored??????

    Mini DV sound/in line mike

    I have a Panasonic PV-DV52 MiniDV camera. It has a built in mike but no "IN LINE" option. (When I bought it I wasn't into filmmaking). Can anyone advise me on how one might rig a jack for in line audio so I can use a 'shot gun' mike as to aquire better sound with dialogue. PLEASE HELP!! Gary
