180° rule or not 180° rule???

I also posted the whole action sequence, it's a short video just follow the link here: http://www.mereuta.com/temp/test1.mov
If you can't see it, basicly is one character's way home.
I have the subject filmed form the right in one shot, then i have it filmed coming from left. The character arrives home seen from the front of the door. So does the rule apply?

I tend to want to follow the 180 degree rule in most, but not all situations. The "rule" is more an effective technique than absolute. Orientation for the viewer is all important, at least if you WANT them to be comfortable. If your goal is to disorient them or make them feel something is "off" or "wrong", then break the rule all you want.

Here is a video on the basics of the 180 degree rule: http://www.vimeo.com/2690589
