How would you define the music in your recent films? was that the authentic, big sound you were dreaming of while shooting? was it a disappointing surprise?
Hi, I'm Aston, an innovative film composer, and as part of this wonderful community of film makers, I sense there's a great gap between the music you, up-and-coming directors, wish to have in your films, and what you practically get, mostly due to budgetary limitations.
As one who knows the necessity of professional film music to your films, and has the tools to make a change, I believe this should not happen, and I'm willing to work hard to change this. For this I need your directions.
Let me know what creates the gap in question for you. Who or what is to be blame? How much time do you leave for your composers to write their scores? How much money do you allocate for your scores, if any? who usually dubs the isolated cues to picture in your productions? do you face any repeating problems when it comes to music? what do you do to solve theoe? tell me everything you think can help with turning the present to history. Our community needs it.
