What is shot on what?

I was hoping someone might know where there is a listing of movies and television shows that are shooting or have been shot on HD (not shown in HD) but that are initially shot in HD. Or if there is a a reference sit that I could look up all this information at myself that would be great too. Thank you for any information you might be able to privide.

I've yet to come across a database dedicated to chronicling films that were initially shot on HD. I’ve seen some that skim over the more popular ones, but nothing that’s all encompassing. That’s not to say it doesn’t exist. I would try a search through the uemedia 2-pop cinematography forums. Highdef magazine online might have an HD database.
Of course, if there's a particular film of interest that you suspect may have been shot digitally, you can find out on imdb.com by going into the column on the left side of the main title page, there will be a section for "technical specs", it'll be there where you'll find out the acquisition format, DV, HD, 16, 35, etc.
