Well... The song is great, that rocked.. but the video its self is not dynamic enough. The 3D composite shots have no real purpose when they are cut with the live footage of the band playing.
Things I liked:
- Good music
- Good looking band...
- Great image quality
- The intro !
Things I believe need work: sorry in advance, I dont like to crit work, but hopefully the person who made this will use it to their advantage...
- Lighting needs work with the band. It shows one side of their face, and leaves the other half in the dark. It would have been cool to see them...
- If you use 3D, and composite the band with the 3D, make sure that your backgrounds do something more. I wanted to see more moving shots... in the 3D... I was happy to see it start moving, and then it just CUTS, and leaves me saying "WHAAAAAAAT?!"
- Editing between 3D and live has to have a reason to cut. It seemed just to cut.... either to cover a mistake on the live or just to show the composite shot in 3D....
- When she goes to the window, she should have been shown walking into the 3D environment... so a match action would have been cool. But when she comes back after from dropping the mic, you're left sitting there and asking your self... why did she do that?
Those are my Crits... I hope the person who created this clip uses them to better it. The quality is there, just that there needs some fine tuning.
Good job, hope to see more in the future!
