I have just joined and uploaded my first film onto Vimeo. I feel like its a good way to see other peoples work and connect with people that have the same interest in film making as I do. If you have a vimeo, please leave the link as I would love to see your videos!

You don't think YouTube is better? I know a lot of people are making money now with their films and shows on YouTube. I don't know if Vimeo is any better or is it?

I think youtube is great! i do however feel that its more for being in front of the camera, which is definitely not my thing. I may be wrong but I think vimeo focuses on being behind the camera rather then in front.

I don't think it really matters, both are good - mostly people will watch your films because of links that you send our (rather than just finding them) so I think each work well.

I was just reading about ways that YouTube and vimeo are different. I have never used vimeo so I am not sure but businesses have to pay and on YouTube it's free. Also YouTube is the most popular.
