Video Festivals

Hi, I was just curious as to what the activity level of video festivals are. Right now, I just dont have the knowledge or money to invest in cameras and film, so I'm gonna be shooting my movie on high-quality video. How many video festivals are there, and is it possible to "get noticed" at a video festival?

hi there, most short film festivals will let you submit films shot on video, usualy all they need is your film on a MiniDV tape, so go for it! Most people dont really get to use film untill they are working with someone elses money!
