I graduated the VFS Digital Design program and even though it's not a degree I definitely learned the stuff I needed to know and it got me the type of job I wanted. But again, it's what you put in and how well you work with people. That meant staying nights and 18-20hours of work a day towards the end of my final project but it was worth it.
For me, the best part of that experience was the friends I made with my classmates and instructors because those are the people who have connected me with the jobs I'm doing now.
If you're still interested in VFS, they're offering a MILLION dollars in scholarships to celebrate their 20th anniversary. And they've got programs in film production, digital design, game design, 3D animation and more. So whatever program you're interested in everyone who starts their classes in 2007 will be awarded a scholarship until the money runs out.
