Toyota needs to come up with some cool commercials that create images of its cars stopping faster in screeching stop test contests against the other car brands. Have some guys in lab coats standing around with clip boards taking notes... and end the commercial with a nice catchy invitation, something like "don't believe everything you hear, test drive a Toyota for yourself today at you local dealership and get a break on..."

or a PSA with a muppet saying
"if your cruise control software malfuntions, instead fo calling your husband on the cell phone while driving, telling him goodbye should you die.... simply take the car out of gear and apply the brakes."
