The Ghost Writer by Roman Polanski is worth watching but it is not exceptional. The acting and scenes didn't have enough the possibility of truth for me. These kinds of movies need to make me feel it could happen. I liked the raining scenes. Ewan McGregor did a good job playing the talented heavy drinking Ghost Writer. The movie felt more like a movie made to satisfy a political statement than for a moving entertainment work.
