THE 2006 PAUL ROBESON AWARDS

Honoring the spirit of Paul Robeson, activist, scholar, performer and athlete, the Paul Robeson Awards were established by the Newark Black Film Festival in 1985, as a biennial competition for aspiring filmmakers. One winner per category (Long Narrative, Documentary, Experimental, and Short Narrative) will be selected and awarded a grand prize, along with having their work screened during our 2006 Festival season. All films submitted will be reviewed by a panel of judges from the film industry. Entry forms will be available on September 1, 2005. Call for entries deadline: February 2006.

To receive a brochure call 973-596-6550.
