"Terminator Salvation" Review - Slight Spoiler Info

This is not the summers biggest thrill ride although it does have one of the biggest robots. This movie is part "Matrix", part "Transformer" and part "Transporter". The Matrix part is that dirty grunged out look and hopefully the feeling of being in the trenches of war and doing without things like decent food, showers and clean cloths. It also has that underground good gang hiding out in the dark from (the machines/computers) facet. The "Transformer" elements shine with the big huge robotic terminators morphing. The racing action and the strong fearless smart body guard type character driving vehicals at top speeds transporting and protecting the weak reminds me of the "Tranporter" but it feels rushed more than it feels action packed. The hype is better done than the movie. I need to learn from the marketing people on this one. The acting is not good. Where is the love? I don't feel it happening. why? idek. I say watch it and have fun but don't let your expectation of an end of the world as we know it high tech story set you up for a let down. The makers lacked guts and an imagination capable of an original vision or the connect the dots ability to transfer the orignial feel. They lack a solid thread that gives you a continuing saga. The best acting in the movie is done by the little girl.
