i was wondering is there any way to make someone look like they just dissapeared in front of the camera.

How do you mean disappear... fade out ? I need a bit more detail. Also what software you are using.

no we need the kid to dissapear in the shot like vanish but everything is still there and we dont know what software to use i was looking into FX Home software to see if i can do this but i didnt find anything

Hi,
I would have filmed 2 versions of the shot:
1. With the person in shot doing there acting.
2. The same shot, same angle, but no actor.
Then use a particle generator something like 'Wondertouch Particle Illusion'. This will add the point of interest when the person disappears.
Wondertouch do have a plugin/extension which works with apple motion. You can download some demo examples of the extension.
I would first mask the person how you would want them to disappear. And use this to know where the particles effects need to appear and move to and from.
If you have not filmed the two shots I have mentioned then try and find a still frame where the actor is not in shot, and use this for your empty background.

Exactly what he said. Just make sure and use a tripod, or else it will turn out really cheesy.

Jeremy they are right.
Or you could have the camera on a tripod, film, stop everything, have the actor walk offscreen, and then start everything back up and do something in post. I like the effect of a flash of light for teleportations, personally. To be honest, when someone glitters when they teleport it just looks bad.

we have just finished a film where our actor was sat in front of a miror. Our actor then fades away leaving his reflection still talking and then his reflection fades out to.
We shot it all without camera movement then filmed it all without the actor.
our editor then overlayed the footage and had to splice it down the midle and fade each piece out individualy.
