Studio Lighting

Hello,

I am try to light a room with the correct light I would like to explain my setup and if some one could maybe post some insight on what kind of lights I still need, or suggestion on the best way to light a room this size.

Here is the dimension the room is 8 feet 6 inch in height and 14 feet wide and 22 feet and 7 inch long in the front of the room we have a green screen that is 8 feet from the ground up and then extends 8 feet on the ground and is also 10 feet wide.

Here is the Light Equipment that we already have set up:

We have (.8.) 100 watts lights which are softened by parchment paper and also (2) 500 watts using umbrella reflectors, Also there are (4) fluorescent lights with (4) bulbs in each light.

If any one has any suggestion to light kits or different lights that would help us better light this room please reply.

How about telling us what you are lighting? In spite of what you said, I suspect you don't want to "light the room," but you want to light something in front of the green screen. What is it? People? Product? What? In spite of the nice drawing, you really didn't tell us much.

Umm..ok..well, first off..what are you shooting on? I'll assume something 4:2:0 or greater since you're green screening.

If you're shooting film...we'd need to know what stock you're using. Obviously if it's under 250 ASA you'll need more light. Just from the wattage I'd guess you have normal practical, Kino 4x4, and 500w Tungsten open face.

Just by going on your vague specs here's what I'd suggest;

practicals, use for your fill. 2 of the kinos should be your key to augment the practicals, the other 2 kinos should be mounted on a polecat above the green screen. you need to create even lighting on the screen to be able to key it out. putting the two kinos above the screen at 45 degree angles should be able to cover it. the 500W can be placed on a cstand/china ball rig for your ambient light levels.
