We’re in the early stages of launching a film production-related service here in Los Angeles. As you can imagine, the market is super competitive and saturated with both established companies and new players popping up regularly. Our goal is to stand out by offering high-quality, reliable services tailored to indie filmmakers, content creators, and small production houses.
Right now, we’re debating whether we should invest in SEO or full digital marketing services from the very beginning. Some people have told us to focus on word-of-mouth and networking first, but we’re concerned that without a strong online presence, it’ll be tough to gain traction in such a fast-moving industry.
What about agencies who create corporate video production for business, is that more beneficial?
We’re starting our operations strictly in LA to begin with, so local visibility is going to be crucial. Has anyone here gone through something similar? Did SEO or digital marketing make a difference for your business when you were just starting out?
