Stabilize Motion work in AE 7

hey guys,
trying to do my first Stabilize Motion work in AE 7 but for some reason the option is disabled when right click on my video clip. Any idea why? All the online tutorials I've read say nothing about it being disabled and how to fix it. help!!

You have to drag it to the timeline first, then right click on the Layer in the timeline for the Stabilize Motion option.

yeah luckily a friend of mine had pro and was able to help me track and composite this screen effect. i'm really happy with AE's performance in tracking!
