Hi
someone here learned from giannetti's book "understanding movies"?
putting his citizen kane chapter aside, do you have a film that could demonstrate all the terms from the book? (preferably "the godfather" and/or "annie hall". preferably if you could demonstrate all the terms in 1-2 sequences from the films).
that could help a lot :)
thanks

Sounds like a tall order there. What do you need to know? Are you in pre-production or shooting anything now or are you just trying to post a challenging question?

i needed it as part of a cinema course. the course is over now :)
so we can treat it now as a challenge.

The best way to create really marvelous, exciting and unforgetable film - is to learnt from great teachers, yes, it could books, but we are filmmakers, our inspiration should come also from film, or interview. you can check some red carpet interview.
