Looking for a producer/camera-person for a road trip/documentary in the US in August or early September for an independent production.
The applicant must have his own professional camera kit while a basic kit will be provided/used as back-up. This is a low-budget production but flight/transport/accommodation/food will be provided free-of-charge.
Any additional things like boom mics etc are also needed, so we're looking at a complete kit. I will consider people if they only have the DSLR only, but knowledge and experience are crucial.
Experience is a must. I may be able to offer a pay on top of the free flight/transport/accommodation/food if the candidate is a US national, as this would obviously avoid transatlantic flight costs.
Now the fun stuff:
The production will be through a rented car (a typical US car like the Mustang or Camaro) and will be across a number of states. The length of the production is around 15-20 days.
Most of the days we will be working but this will be a fun trip and we should finish in Las Vegas (and staying at a good hotel) which means you can stay there a few extra days if you'd like although a flight/reasonable mode of transport would be offered to initial destination.
I'd expect the applicant to be a responsible person and focused on the job in hand but while the main aim is to do a good job, the second aim is to have fun and enjoy what is a very good trip.
If you're not a US resident, you must have a passport and pay for any visa costs involved.
The production will involve 2 or 3 people max, as US filming permits mean that we need a very small filming team.
If you're interested or have any questions please send me an email on [email protected]
