RE: GLOBAL FILM
Dear Film Makers,
Greetings from the UK.
I am in the early stages of starting a documentary type film asking people about their lives (what's good / bad about their life and what would they change about their life if they could: 3 questions). Each interview is short and I plan to interview as many people as I can in the UK over the next few years. I plan to interview a cross section of people with different demographic characteristics.
I am looking for partners to join me in my endevours. After all, there are circa 193 countries in the world and I figure if I can get enough people to do the same as me we could have a great documentary at the end of it. You may think this is somewhat bizarre, but just consider how say a Hungarian hill farmers' life would differ from that of a taxi driver in NYC. Maybe they'll exp the same ups and downs? Maybe they won't. Who will be happier?
Each interview should take place in a context that reflects, where possible, their life (a taxi driver in his cab, a farmer in his field, a lawyer in his office, the prostitute in the street etc.).
I you are interested in this please e-mail me: [email protected]
If you're not interested thanks for taking the time to read this and fwd it to as many filmmakers as possible. A reckon we could start filming next Jan if we get enough support. Once done (say 50 interviews from each country) we then could then apparoach celebrities from each country who could also take part. This would give the film some credability and then we market it as a consortuim.
Kindest regards,
Mr A Wilkes
