Hello guys, for the first time I wanna submit my short film on a festival, I don't know much about it, I'm focus to do the things as well as possible, so no music with copyright and something like that, I have a question, it's a Sci-Fi short, in one scene I wanna create a laboratory environment, so I wanna acting in front of a green screen and then add a realistic laboratory picture behind me, what I wanna ask is if also pictires are covered by copyright protection ? I downloaded some laboratory pictires from the web, look that, can I use image like that for my short and submit it on a festival without copyright trouble ? Of course I mean the pictures without any person, where you can see only the background, take a look on the link under for see some examples.
