Premiere Pro 2.0 Highly Unstable Please Help!!!

Hi

For some reason i'm able to capture, add files to the timeline, and do anything besides accessing general preferences, audio, etc. via the file button or any other button. The program just freezes. I recently installed premiere pro 1.5 and see if that would work. And it did and is perfectly stable. But the thing is i want to use premiere 2.0, any clues on how to solve this problem?

Are your system specs up to the requirements of PPro 2?

Describe your system in a bit more detail please.

Did you completely uninstall Pro 1.5 before installing 2? I wonder if there is a weird file conflict in there...

Also...check your scratch disk assignments in Edit>Preferences>Scratch disks and ensure they aren't aimed at disks with no space available, or that don't exist, etc...
