Only Raylight can convert mxf files for Vegas Pro :(

Any tips on doing this without having to spend another 200$ for raylight? I can't believe hvx200 format isn't compatible with vegas pro as is. So confusing.

i am checking with Steve at Sony

he sent me an e-mail and said he is checking. i will let you know as soon as i hear something.

What I've read, I have to either use avid / pinnacle, because Vegas Pro (which I love!) and Adobe Premiere cannot play the format that comes off the p2 card. You have to run it through raylight (or a few other expensive software options) in order to get it into Vegas. It does work great with Final Cut though, but I am a PC junkie.

Disappointing.
