The annual UK International Veterans’ Film Festival is dedicated to raising awareness about our serving and ex serving Armed Forces community, their families and the influences and impact war has on our society
Arguably, film is still the most powerful medium to create stories and put ideas out into the world. Now, more than ever before, it is possible for creativity to emerge and be shared.
We are a new festival recently launched for submissions. The festival will take place over a weekend in Aberystwyth, West Wales UK. It is the first of its kind in the UK. We will also run a 24hr filmmaking challenge over the same weekend.
The UIVFF program:
Invites filmmakers to submit their films of up to 25 mins, including short films, documentaries, musicals, animation and experimental media
Participation in the Festival weekend short film challenge, open to veterans and filmmakers to write, shoot, edit, produce and submit a short film in just 24 hours.
