Name of Looking Eye Piece

Does anyone know the name of the eye piece that you look through to ensure your lighting it correct and that your eyes have not adjusted to the light over time. (not a light meter) The Student Filmmaker magazine has an article about it, but I left the article in a hotel while on vacation. Can you help me.

Thanks for the feedback. As for the contrast glass, I'd say look for someplace that sells Tiffen products online (they may even have an online store). The founder of Tiffen was the guy who wrote the article in the magazine, so that's a good start. Also try checking BH. It seems you can find almost anything production-related on there.
