I was thinking about melody and how it is composed of higher and lower pitches in succession and order and of longer and shorter durations of sounds and silences to create a melody. I know there is theory as to how this works but I think these are the basic building blocks. I like thinking about the basics components of how things work like with computers the zero and one or on and off works to create all high mathematical computations.
