low budget movie making : camera suggestion

Hi Everyone

I am sunny from India and interested in making a low budget regional movie ,Just wanted to know what type of camera should i choose to make digital movie.

My Plan is as follows

  1. Make a digital movie in India with low investment and rental equipment ( www.accordequips.com )
  2. Release the movie in digital theatre using UFO ( www.ufomoviez.com )

guys please let me know which camera i shld choose..thats the basic !

Look at the Panasonic DVX-100a, lots of award winning independent films done with it. Great camera, tons of bang for the buck.
