I have a finished film NOW WHAT

I am not done with the film yet but I am filming about a ten to fifteen minute short. I am filming with a DCR-VX-2000. Once I am finished with it. Can I enter it. I am currently a student in high school. Any info would be greatly aprechiated.

You can enter it into any film festival except those with themes that don't relate to your movie and those that demand you have it on film.

You probably want to do some research and send it into a local festival. There are some festivals specifically for high school students and sending it to those wouldn't be a bad idea either.

If you have huge faith in your film you could send it to larger festivals but thats going to start costing you, think carefully.

since you're young and your parents presumably provide you with all the necessities of life, you should keep writing and cranking out films as fast as possible to work on your craft.

It'll be time well spent and you'll be thankful you did it before you have to worry about bills and career stuff. ok, i'm an old fart! I'll just STFU.....

it has the top 10 video sharing sites. I've uploaded my trailer to all of them to get feedback and eyeballs in front of my work. You could do the same as a way to get ppl watching and giving feedback without spending money on festival applications. good luck
