Hi,
A few scenes in an upcoming film of mine are being shot outside during daylight with no lighting. What are some suggestions to get more of a film look? Camera being used in a Sony HDR-HC1.
Thanks

One thing to do when you're shooting your subject is to stand far away from the subject and zoom in and use the manual focus so that the subject will be clear and the background will be blurry. That's one reason why film cameras are different than digital cameras. Another way to do it is in post, if you have Final Cut Studio 2, Color has a few settings that give it more of a film look by changing the contrasts within the video.
