How did you afford film school?

With film school tuition being so expensive (I was talking to someone at Vancouver Film School in BC and for the first year it is about $50,000), those who currently attended film school, how were you able to afford it?

That much??? Film School doesn't cost that much down here. It's $15,000 for the 3 year course and you can afford it with a HECS debt. It's even cheaper if you pay $500 a semester, then you get given 25% off for the rest of the year. You pay it off once you earn about $36, 500 a year.
