ok guys i live in the uk and have £1300 to play with. ive directed some theatre before but never film, i want get going asap and experiment. ideally i wanted to purchase panasonic dvx100b in the uk, but its way expensive in the uk due to sales tax(VAT). being a newbie to film should i save for the dvx(good investment for the future etc.) or is there something cheaper i could experiment with, alternative options? thanks guys...ps this forum is soooo good!
