I am both an acting and fim student from Houston, I am also a huge fan of Set construction, props, sound, lighting, sound, and the whole nine yards.

Well I´m not form Houston, but I wanted to say hello, and I worked making props for thater plays and recently i had the oportunity to work making props for a short film, and I can tell you is very very diferent.
Because in a play the props donta have to be very detailed, because the audience is far away but in film you have to pay attention in every detail, beacuse teh camera sees it all.

No matter if it's film or theater, I love everything on stage should be detailed. I feel the more detail, the more real. And the more real, the more characterization actors can produce.
