First proper camera! *Advice Needed*

Hi everyone,
I'm in need of some advice on buying my first dslr camera to start filming in the summer budget is around £350-£400 mark. No specific lens required etc. I've been looking around and the Canon 60D seems to be a good entry level camera to go for, if anyone can advise on a cheaper alternative or pro/cons of the 60D that would be helpful.

What kind of lens would you suggest, looking at a basic one for good shots, nothing crazy fancy

I would not worry to much about getting the perfect lenses to start. Get something in your budget range.
