Film Cutting Research Essay

Hello all,

So basically, I'm a TV student in Canada and am doing a research essay on a post production technology which we do not use in our program. I chose to do mine on the digitization of film after cutting. If anyone has any information on this type of technology, such as equipment used, programs for digitizing film, techniques, etc... It would be hugely appreciated. This forum post is actually part of the research essay too. We have to post a message and then print out all of the replies.
