Face Replacement vs Some other Special Effect

he video I want to make is about that I playing freestyle soccer tricks(But I couldn't do those tricks)

So I'm thinking of two options

First, using other people's video, and using face replacement techniques to have my own face on it.(I don't know if this violates some copyright)

Second, I just video tape myself doing some moves (without the ball, so it would me dancing and jumping up and down only), after this, we do some special effect by adding the ball to it. (have to create the ball that spinning bouncing up and down naturally)。

The totally video would be around 3 min.

Therefore, which option of above is more realistic? Also, if I want to hire someone to do the video. Which one is less expensive?

Go with the second option. Test a few simple moves with the ball being crated with CGI and then go for the more complex tricks.

How long does it take for me to learn making the ball bouncing up and down naturally so that not easy to detect it's fake ?

It's depends on your ability to learn and your resources and the amount of time you put into learning to do it.

For CGI software, do you think which one is easier for beginners and best fit into my purpose? Blender is free, but not sure if it's good option to make such video. Because, I first need to create a 3D ball that able to spinning, and bouncing in blender. Then I need to composite this 3D model into my real live action video. Also when I doing the trick, sometimes my leg cross the ball, from the point view of camera, some part of the ball will be blocked by my legs or feet. (So, from camera, my legs are in the front of the ball, and only captures the part of the ball that not been blocked by my legs and feet. )

I suggest you use what you can afford or what you have available for now. You should probably post in special effects section and ask Ruanlotter http://www.studentfilmmakersforums.com/member.php/18660-ruanlotter but I would suggest you go with what you can afford. I did a search and found a pretty long list for making a bouncing ball. I am not a special effects guy but I know some of this software is expensive. https://www.youtube.com/results?sea...ts+tutorial+for+bouncing+ball+cgi&spfreload=1

do you think blender is able to do what I want for this video, including composite the 3d model into real live action video? It's free software

thanks for it. So if I try to learn but I don't satisfy with my own work, I just go to networking section and post ads.

Is my project considered as 3D animation ? Seems like it will costs a huge if its 3D animation
